Day 1: El Chaltén - Mount Fitz Roy
If you are looking for a unique adventure starting from El Chaltén and want to discover the incredible landscapes of Mount Fitz Roy, this self-guided hiking route is perfect for you.
Setting off from El Chaltén, you'll follow the trail that leads to Laguna de los Tres. Along the way, you'll explore native forests, viewpoints, and hanging glaciers that are sure to leave you absolutely speechless.
You'll hike alongside the Blanco River until you reach the Piedras Blancas glacier viewpoint, where you can pause to take in the spectacular scenery. Finally, you'll arrive at Fitz Camp, where we will be waiting to check you in.
You'll find your tents already set up and fully equipped with sleeping mats, sleeping bags, and pillows. After a well-deserved rest, you can head down to the base camp for dinner and to spend the night. Congratulations, you have successfully completed the first stage of the hike!
Day 2: Mount Fitz Roy - El Chaltén
Before sunrise, we'll meet in the camp’s dining area for breakfast to fuel up for the day ahead. After breakfast, we'll provide instructions for the final ascent to Laguna de los Tres, allowing you to reach this stunning location just in time for sunrise. We promise the effort will be well worth it!
You'll enjoy unparalleled panoramic views of Mount Fitz Roy and the frozen lagoons. With your camera full of photos, you'll return to the base camp to check out.
Once your experience in the heart of Argentine Patagonia concludes, we'll provide you with the necessary directions for your return journey back to El Chaltén. Until next time, adventurers!

Accommodation
This hike includes 1 night's accommodation in double tents in Fitz Camp. Dinner is included on the first day and breakfast on the second.
Please note that lunch for the hiking days is not included in the activity price. If you want lunch, you'll need to pay 25USD per person and day.
Not-Included Tickets
This activity does not include admission to the northern area of Los Glaciares National Park in El Chaltén. On your voucher, we'll provide you with instructions on how to purchase these tickets.
